E-tickets website is the official site to purchase tickets online for the Acropolis and slopes, The Temple of Olympian Zeus, Kerameikos, Ancient Agora, Roman Agora, Adrians Library and Aristotle’s School. Once you access the site in the left-hand corner there are the letters |EN; click on the EN for English.

MEAT ON A STICK SOUVLAKI – “KALAMAKI BAR”

Diagonally across from “the ladies” is a restaurant called “Kalamaki Bar” and only serves meat on a skewer with a small pita on the side, and yes, we love it. Of course they offer appetizers, fries and salads.

Skoubri (which means mackerel in English) is a nice neighborhood fish taverna right across from Kalamaki Bar and a few doors down from “the ladies”. Casual with good solid Greek seafood eats.

Many Indian restaurants have been opening by Syggrou Avenue, only a few minutes away. In our opinion the best one, Naan Stop, is not near by (in Ambelokipous area). They deliver through delivery apps as e-food and wolt. Click for location

Tuk Tuk has delicious Thai food & drinks. Its a very small place and a table or seat at the bar may be hard to find so make sure you go close to opening at 6pm or you might have to wait in line!

The Ancient Temple of Poseidon in Sounion is about an hour away by car from Athens. Should you wish transportation to Sounion, we collaborate with drivers who drive our guests and spend the day in Sounion.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center is a beautiful complex in the bay of Faliro in Athens which includes the National Library of Greece, the Greek National Opera as well as the 210,000 m² Stavros Niarchos Park. Click for location
